Exit Zero is a 58 page Black and White graphic novella. Brandon Smith and Jason Brown, two recent seminary graduates ready tackle and change the world forever. Both idealistic and cynical, before beginning this life long mission, they decide see some of the outside world first, save some souls, and raise some money. Deciding to hitchhike cross-country, they immediately get a ride from a quiet school bus driver named Jim. After one night and 400 miles, the guys ask to get off at Exit Zero. Jim pulls out a gun instead, and holds them against their will.
Embarking on a few day unsolicited tour of graveyards, they are forced to dig up seemingly random graves and remove the jewels placed in the coffins. Soon fate lets them escape this nightmare. They soon discover the nightmare has just begun, as they connect the dots of their ill-fated journey and its participation in a massive jewel heist. New and resurrected players in the scheme surface, they could paint the nefarious motives for all to see, but still implicate Jason and Brandon. Both must fight to prove their innocence, but in doing so they learn the deadly sin of greed, but also that the thief in the night, could also be your best friend in the day.
